I got this information from Video Game Sound Converter when dumping STX files:
Encoding: GameCube "AFC" 4-bit ADPCM Layout: interleave Interleave: 0x9 bytes Metadata from: Nintendo .stx header
Additional observations
- All STX files are 44100Hz, except for piki.stx, which is 48000Hz (and unused).
- All STX files have 2 channels of audio.
