In files of Pikmin 2 are txt files that describe the game and how it should load caves, or load challenge mode levels, for example pikmin2\user\Matoba\challenge\stages.txt loads the parameters for challenge mode.
Challenge Mode[edit]
After you select that option then it loads text file called stages.txt which is here pikmin2\user\Matoba\challenge\stages.txt and this has a lot to it.
There is a special type of pikmin exclusive to challenge mode, called the pikpik carrot, probably a pikmin idea then the model was scrapped and the carrot replaced it.
