- A streamed audio format for JSYSTEM Nintendo games, often used for cutscenes and menus.

- Internal name for the clog objects.
- BLO file
- A 2D screen format used for JSYSTEM Nintendo games.
- BMD file
- A 3D model format used for JSYSTEM Nintendo games.
- BMS file
- A sequenced audio format used for JSYSTEM Nintendo games.

- C-Kit
- A toolkit that is used to inject C++ code into a GameCube/Wii DOL executable file.
- This was an old method of editing/adding onto the game's code, which has been succeeded by decomp.

- Internal name for Awakening Wood.

- A tool that lets you convert MIDI files to BMS files.
- JSYSTEM
- An in-house engine developed by Nintendo used for many GameCube and Wii games such as Pikmin 2.

- The internal name for leaders.

- The word is a romanization of 御負け(bonus), which is also the internal name for the cinema/bonus menu.
- Onyon
- Internal name for Pikmin Onions.
- Otakara
- The Japanese word for treasures that also happens to be their internal name.

- The internal name for Pikmin; the word stems from the Japanese word "Ippiki (一疋), which means "one small animal".
- Plant
- This is often what spiderwort plants are called internally, but sometimes applies to normal plant creatures.
- Pod
- Internal name of ship pod used in caves.

- Internal name for the bugs that rarely appear in Wistful Wild.

- What the game calls the cave skyboxes.

- The internal name for the Distant Spring and the Perplexing Pool.
- The word comes from one of the Ōsumi Islands that are found in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.

- Zukan
- Romanization of 図鑑 (picture book). Ambiguously, it is the internal name for both the Piklopedia and Treasure Hoard.
